About the Chef At Catamount Country Club, we guarantee our customers delicious gourmet dining prepared by our award winning chef, John Raphael. Growing up in West Boylston, Massachusetts, John developed a love for a cooking at a very young age having grown up in a family who owned a catering company. John earned three degrees including a liberal arts degree at Champlain College, associates in occupational science degree at Johnson and Wales, and a bachelor of food service degree at Johnson and Wales.
At the Catamount Country Club all of the food is homemade from scratch by our chef. We do not demand that our customers follow strict dining packages, but rather we encourage customizing menus (see sample) to meet the desires of the individual. John is very flexible and meets with all of our clients to create custom menus for their events. With a loyal, professional staff and John’s expertise, the management at the Catamount Country Club ensures that you will have an exceptional dining experience.
